October 2005

Trent Health in Motion coordinates and serves as the Medical Team for the 2005 OUA Rowing Championships in Welland, Ontario.

September 2006

Ken Hoard (PT) joins our staff and clinic expands hours to include Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

October 2006

Trent Health in Motion has been selected to coordinate the medical team for the 2007 World Championships for women's field lacrosse being held at Trent University August 4-12th, 2007.

August 2007

Kylie Gibson (Chief Therapist) coordinated the Host Medical Team for the 2007 U19 IFWLA World Championships. The medical team consisted of 20 volunteers including athletic therapists, physiotherapists, sport chiropractors, and physicians. More than 600 athletes form 13 countries competed over the course of the 8 day tournament running form August 4-11.  Luckily we were kept most busy maintaining the "ice baths" and calculating the WBGT Index!!

October 2007

Dave Kervin (RMT) completes the Lower Extremity A.R.T. Certification Course. He is now one of only 3 practitioners in Peterborough and surrounding area trained in this treatment technique.

December 2007

Trent University announces construction will begin in August 2008 to expand the PSB Wilson Athletic Complex. It is anticipated that Trent Health in Motion will be expanding it's facility to a 3500 square foot state of the art sport medicine clinic which will be located adjacent to the planned 10,000 square foot lifestyle/fitness centre.
